Asilia Camps

Overview

Oliver's Camp is situated in the remote and little-visited south-east region of the beautiful Tarangire National Park and offers an authentic African safari experience with the advantage of superior service and top quality guiding. With only 10 tents available, Oliver's delivers exclusivity in an area famous for its large numbers of elephants and big cats, while its wetland location means an extensive bird list.

Daily game drives showcase the spectacular wildlife of Tarangire, at no time more than from August to October when incredibly high concentrations of animals are found at nearby water sources. The camp also specialises in guided walking safaris lasting from a few hours to several days, when guests can enjoy exciting fly-camping under the stars.

Highlights:

  • Small, relaxed & intimate camp

  • Set in beautiful, elephant-rich Tarangire

Situated close to the Minyonyo Pools are an additional five luxury tents known as Little Oliver’s Camp. Large decks give you ample space to witness the wildlife wandering to these pools. Look up at the stars above you in the outdoor shower (there is also an indoor one).

A communal area offers your group the chance to relax and dine together away from the other guests of the Oliver’s Camp. Though intimate in size, there is plenty of space, thus making the camp a perfect option for a small group of friends or large family.
